London, UK. 29 September 2025 – Konsentus, a leading global provider of open banking and open finance infrastructure technology, today announced the appointment of Tony Pegg as VP International Business Development, strengthening the company’s leadership as it continues to expand globally.

Konsentus has been at the forefront of delivering advanced trust framework technologies and data validation services since 2018, establishing itself as a trusted partner to many of the world’s largest and most influential financial institutions. At its core, Konsentus is about unlocking growth and innovation by enabling secure, seamless connections, at scale, between trusted parties in the open ecosystem.

In his new role, Tony will focus on helping central banks, regulators, payment system providers and financial institutions implement, manage and successfully participate in trusted open ecosystems and secure open data exchange.

Tony brings a rare, end-to-end perspective of the ecosystem:

• Governance / Scheme: Having worked with OBIE (now known as Open Banking Limited), the administrative body overseeing the implementation of open banking in the UK, Tony has a deep understanding of how standards, conformance and assurance frameworks translate into trusted market adoption.
• Technology Vendor / Market Enablement: Tony has held leadership roles with specialist technology providers, helping financial institutions and third parties navigate regulatory and market requirements through innovative, standards-driven solutions.
• Bank-Side Delivery:  Most recently, Tony was based in the Middle East, working with major banks in the region, leading the delivery of Open Finance channels and implementation of both the Saudi Central Bank (SAMA) and UAE Central Bank (CBUAE) standards. This included data sharing and payments, with a particular focus on cVRP use cases. He also drove product commercialisation using Open Banking APIs and data-driven insights to increase customer acquisition and product adoption.

This combination of policy, product, and practical bank delivery equips Tony to support Konsentus’ mission of enabling secure, scalable growth for open banking and open finance globally.
