With 31 markets and a total of 115 databases and registers between them – interpreting, understanding and bringing the data together is complex and time consuming! This paper explores how, by overcoming these challenges, the right access decisions can be made each time an open banking transaction request is received.
The NCA registers contain information on the identity of Payment Service Providers and the regulated payment services that they are authorised/registered to provide under PSD2. Whilst working with the NCA registers, Konsentus has identified the complexities of working with multiple data sources, all of which are in different languages and formats. By bringing together the data in a standardised way, Konsentus has made it easy for those within the ecosystem to easily identify the entities they are interacting with and understand the services they can provide.
