In your role as Consultant, you will work as part of small teams helping our clients in countries across the globe to understand and to embrace the opportunities for their economies opened up by open banking / open finance.  We typically work with central banks, regulators and banking associations, and our advice is being sought by clients from every continent across the globe.

Key aspects of your role will include:

• helping clients to plan and to execute their open banking / open finance journeys;
• leveraging existing Konsentus research and analysis into worldwide market developments and trends, to inform and educate our clients;
• monitoring and analysing market developments and trends, to ensure our knowledge base remains current.

Role Requirements:

• At least 3, and preferably 5 years’ relevant work experience. This may have been in a consulting firm, in a market analysis role, in a technology business, or in the financial services sector.
• Strong preference for candidates with some familiarity with the open banking sector, from a business or possibly a regulatory perspective.
• You will ideally be degree educated, but we will consider other candidates if they have significant relevant work experience.
• Proficient skills in using Microsoft Office software, including PowerPoint, Word and Excel
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills: empathy and willingness to work as part of interdisciplinary and geographically diverse teams, developing and maintaining strong internal and external relationships.
• Great organisation and time management skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks while working on multiple ongoing projects at once, ensuring to manage expectations both internally and externally. Ideally you will have successfully led projects yourself.
• Proactive, curious and eager to develop your knowledge and professional skills.
• Ideally based in the UK (where our head office is located in Reading, Berkshire).
